The reason for this, as Persona 3 Reload producer Ryota Niitsuma tells IGN, is that the team wanted to 'really genuinely work on recreating the Persona 3 experience', not the other games. This means that it will not include the Answer epilogue introduced in the FES version or the female protagonist option introduced in the portable version. In other news, it was finally confirmed that the Persona 3 Remake will only be a revision of the original experience. However, another recent comment by someone named Dest mentions that the characters will be mainly from Persona 3/4/5, which seems believable given Atlus' current direction of only emphasizing the games after Persona 1 and 2. The types of projects are currently unclear, but some of Resetera's moderators have mentioned that one of the games will be a Persona party game coming out next year, and featuring characters from the entire franchise. And mentioned that each project will be out by 2026, which is the year that Persona 6 is supposedly going to be released. Midori also stated earlier that there are several other projects based on Persona 5 in the works. Persona 5 Strikers police inspector Zenkichi Hasegawa and AI helper Sophia are also plausible choices, but Akechi was and will remain the character fans (and we) crave the most because of his unfortunate fate in the original game. This could mean that we might get some of the new characters introduced in the Royal version of Persona 5, such as Kasumi Yoshizawa and Takuto Maruki. It also makes sense, since judging by the Tactica trailer, the main game will feature all-new characters never before seen in Persona 5 Royal or Persona 5 Strikers, so the only chance for old characters to reappear is through DLC. The leaker's credibility was proven with the recently revealed Xbox Showcase trailers for Persona 3 Remake and Persona 5 Tactica, two games whose existence Midori leaked a few days before their official reveal. They also said that Akechi won't be the only DLC character, and that we should expect some fun surprises later on. Midori shared a screenshot of the official website's DLC reveal along with a follow-up tweet saying Akechi will be one of those desired characters. As seen on the official Persona 5 Tactica Japanese website, a brand-new story episode titled "Repaint Your Heart" will be available on launch and will focus on specific "desired characters".ĪLSO READ: Your Phone's A Better Project Q Than Sony's Project Q
